I would like to get a group together to meet, sew, and socialize on a regular basis. I've been inspired by "Knitting for Peace" by Betty Christiansen, subtitled "Make the Word a Better Place, One Stitch at a Time." Some possible projects: Chemo Caps, Prayer Shawls, Security Blankets. So, we're knitting (or crocheting, quilting) to give back. Projects will be forwarded to appropriate organizations that will distribute. Get together with like-minded people and laugh, share and hopefully make the world a little better.
